GP Training

GPs in Training

Our practice is approved to train fully qualified doctors who wish to speciliase in general practice. Our GP registrars will have had 2-4 years of experience as a qualified hospital doctor working in various specialties. They consult patients on their own, under the mentorship of our trainers, Dr Kumar and Dr Thompson.

Our current GP registrars are Dr Mansour and Dr Monteiro.

Foundation Doctors

An F2 doctor is a doctor in their second year of the UK Foundation Programme, bridging the gap between medical school and specialty training. They have full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and take on increasing responsibility for patient care, while still under supervision. When in a general practice placement, F2 doctors work under the close supervision of an experienced GP, with a focus on developing skills transferable to any career path.

Our current F2 doctor is Dr Narayanan.

Medical Students

Medical students are sometimes attached to the practice for 2 weeks as part of their training. If you do not wish a student to be present during your consultation, please inform the reception. This does not affect your care.
