We offer free, confidential chlamydia tests, without the need to see a GP. The test is simple and requires no examination - just a swab or urine test.
If you are under 25 and sexually active, it is recommended that you have a test every year - or if you have a new sexual partner.

How do I get an NHS Health Check?
If you're aged 40 to 74 and do not have a pre-existing health condition, you should be invited to an NHS Health Check by your GP every 5 years
If you fit the above criteria and dependent on your preference you will receive the following type of invite:
· SMS to your mobile phone with a self-book link to book a 30-minute appointment
· Email with a self-book link to book a 30-minute appointment
· Telephone verbal invite
· Letter invite
What Happens at an NHS Health Check?
Completed by a Health Care Assistant or Nurse, to include:
· Height, weight and waist measured
· Blood pressure test (usually using the Health POD)
· Cholesterol test (may include a blood sugar level test)
You will be asked some lifestyle questions, which will include:
· Smoking
· Alcohol use
· Physical activity
At the end of your NHS Health Check, you'll have the chance to discuss your results, how to improve your scores and advise on where you can get support
