Did you know you can access GP services from your computer, tablet or mobile phone with Patient Online?  You can book GP appointments, view a partial summary of your health record which includes Medication, Allergies and Immunisation history or renew prescriptions via the clinical system.  To register for this service please come to the surgery reception for further details.  You will need 2 forms of identification (one needs to be photo ID such as a passport or driver's licence, the other a utility bill to confirm your residence) to access this service. Medical Students

Medical students and Nursing students attend the practice from time to time. We hope that you will co-operate with us and help the students to learn about general practice. However, you will be informed of their presence in advance, and if you do not want them to be present at a consultation, your wishes will be respected. This will not affect your treatment in any way.

Nurses

Nurse Debbie

Debbie joined the practice during 2021.  She supports the nursing team at the practice and undertakes a general role within the practice nurse team.  Debbie works on Thursdays and Fridays

Nurse Tracy (f)

Tracy is our Lead Practice Nurse based at the Health Centre . She is available for COPD monitoring, Spirometry, Diabetic reviews, Contraceptive injections, Cervical Smears, Immunisation and travel vaccinations, dressings, removal of stitches, blood pressure checks, health advice & asthma clinics. She is also a Nurse prescriber.  When booking your appointment you may be asked the nature of your appointment so the correct length of time can be allocated.

Nurse Rachel

Rachel joined the practice during 2021 and previously worked in a hosptial setting within the intensive care unit.  Rachel is currently undergoing further training within the practice to carry out general nursing duties in primary care.

Healthcare Assistants

Karen (f)

Karen, Health Care Assistant at the practice. She is a qualified phlebotomist who undertakes routine blood and INR tests as well as monitoring blood pressure. She is  also able to undertake diabetic footchecks.

Sonia (f)

Sonia, Health Care Assistant at the practice. She is a qualified phlebotomist who undertakes routine blood and INR tests as well as monitoring blood pressure. She is  also able to undertake diabetic footchecks.
