CQC inspection report

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the national organisation set up to check whether hospitals, GP practices, care homes and care services are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.  From April 2013 GP practices were advised that they would receive a CQC inspection every three years.
Our most recent inspection was carried out on 4th April 2017 .  The inspection lasted all day and covered many aspects of general practice.  During the day the inspector interviewed patients in the waiting room, doctors and members of staff and reviewed many policies and procedures. They also inspected all areas of the building.
We are very pleased to advise that South Brent Health Centre met all the essential standards during the inspection and received a very positive report.  This can be viewed by visiting

We would like to say a very big thankyou to those patients who spoke to the inspector  on the day and also for members of our Patient Participation Group who also contributed.
